Precautions & Maintenance

THE FREEZE

Pottery is not guaranteed against freezing.

For glazed pottery, below -5°C, we advise you to put them inside if possible or to cover them.

Pottery without enamel, in terracotta, is not subject to these conditions and doesn’t require specific maintenance.

WINTER

Our pottery (glazed and natural terracotta) can be coated with a water repellent.

This allows them to better withstand the cold and protect against freezing.

Note : The saucers under the pot must be removed in winter to avoid the accumulation of water.

CLEANING

To clean your glazed pottery, you can use water mixed with white vinegar.

This helps to fade the traces of earthenware that form over time.

If you want to clean your natural terracotta pottery, you can scrub it with a brush soaked in soap and water, rinse and then let dry.
